I really wanted my Monette mouthpieces to be my answer, but I ultimately couldn't get the sound to ring like I needed. I played them for about 10 years.
First I played the standard line, and then when the Prana line was released I bought a couple of them right away. I will never forget the first notes on my old Prana B1-5M. The sound and feel sent shivers down my spine. Very good mouthpiece!
Once I was finally able to actually sit next to some really fine orchestral players, I realized that they had the brilliant, pure, ringing sound that I wanted, and they were all using Bach or Bach-style mouthpieces on off-the-shelf trumpets.
I decided to sell my Monettes and learn to play really well on a conventional mouthpiece. At that point, IF I felt like it, I would allow myself to revisit Monettes.
I am of the opinion that most people should do the same. Learn to get a truly professional sound(pure, brilliant, ringing, resonant) on conventional equipment, and THEN, if you feel like messing around with Monette stuff, have at it.
