Al enige tijd volg ik dit instrument, als het een trompet is dan is het een soort voorloper van de Rembrandt van Marcinkiewicz. Alleen denk ik dat het een cornet is. Heel apart een soort Conn-achtige cornetbouw (dus een beetje als een trompet), maar met een shepherd's crook, een haakse 2e stembuis en zo'n aparte kronkel bij de 3e stembuis.
O.g.v. dat alles en door de ouderwetse brace in de stembuis denk ik zelf dat het een Lyon and Healy cornet is. Andere meningen?

Misschien loopt die bocht bij de derde stempijp in werkelijkheid zoals bij deze:

Op pagina 32 van deze pdf staat een L & H cornet met o.a. zo'n gekke bocht in de leadpipe.[/list]
