Sommige instrumenten hebben leadpipe van SterlingSilver. Wat is het verschil met gewoon messing?

De klank, het instrument zal wat helderder klinken. Met goudmesssing klinkt het vaak weer wat donkerder. Alles is natuurlijk ook afhankelijk van de taper. Ik weet niet hoe het met Sterling Zilver is, maar goudmessing wordt vaak gebruikt om dat dat minder snel corrodeert dan messing.
